The Sailor Moon Official Site has mentioned that the release of the upcoming Sailor Moon Eternal movie would be delayed due to COVID-19. It was set to be released on September 11, 2020 in Japan but now it will be released in Japan on January 8, 2021. In addition to this Part 2 of the Eternal Sailor Moon movie would be released February 11, 2021.
Sailor Moon Eternal Part 1 will cover the first half of the Dream Arc of the Sailor Moon manga and Part 2 will cover the second half. We currently don’t know how the movies would be released outside of Japan. Once we get more information we will let you know.
