Today, June 30th, is Usagi’s birthday! To celebrate a special video has been released on the official Sailor Moon site which shows us a clip from the upcoming movie Sailor Moon Eternal. The clip shows Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chibi Moon’s transformation sequence. You can watch the clip below.
When I first watched this clip I was like is this from the original series with better graphics. The transformation sequences are nearly identical. Watch the side by side comparison below to see what I am talking about.
What do you think about the clips? Sailor Moon Eternal Part 1 will be out in theatres in Japan starting January 8, 2021. The second part will be out the next month on February 11, 2021. We still don’t have any details on when the international release will take place and how.
